With ten fresh inches of snow yesterday I couldn’t help but be nostalgic for the summer. My greenhouse was my happy place this past growing season. Gardening in Montana can be frustrating, to say the least. It is a lot of work in a short amount of time with a highly variable return. But the greenhouse, amazing. I grew everything from seed and must have harvested 150 pounds of tomatoes this year! To be honest, it was too many, and I still have some in there now, many months later. I also grew basil and lettuce. Next year I will throw some cucumbers, peppers, and flowers in the mix as well.
